300zx Converitable????

I was going out to go get lunch during work and I see this bad *** old body Z. It had 19", droped, and it was CONVERTIBLE. Iv seen tons and tons of those cars here but never in a conv. was this a coustom or did they actually make these. Come to think about it, the 350z will look sweet as a convertible im sure its eventually going to be on the market.

I saw a guy on the highway once with a 300zx convertable, it was beautiful. So I followed him, and he just left me on the highway.. I exited when he did and when he was next to me at a light I listened as he took off and I could hear the turbo and BOV. Must have been quite a custom build, if they didn't come with tt.

Am I the only one who thinks the 300ZX Convertable is ugly? But then again I think the WRX looks really nice.....

I am with you on the 300z conv. It looks kinda sloppy to me. I love the coupe but the conv. just doesn't do anything for me in the looks department. Just my $.02

The 300ZX was available in a convertible several years (93-96), not just 96.

I didn't care for the convertibles much either. I loved the hard tops though. And from what I've read, If you turn Stillen loose with one of these babys, You get a rocketship back when they're done!

when i lived on the east coast there was a guy that was chopping
the tops off of the older body z's. the body style before the 90
body style. he used a lot of the parts from the rx-7 top. they were
sweet.
