Yup

This is a common complaint. Many posts about it. Some claim it's the fuel, some have their coils replaced, some have the idle speed adjusted, no one really seems to know what it is. I have an automagic and have the same vibration at idle IN GEAR. Shift to nuetral and it goes away. Feels like lumpy cams or something. If anyone has a definite fix, I'd like to hear it, too.

I got the same problem in my 2K2 GLE...although it the amount of vibration sometimes varies with the type of gas (Shell, BP, Mobil) I put in. But yeah when I drop it in neutral it feels smooth as silk.

Add another one to the list: outside temperature. Today it was 49 degrees F on my way home. The VQ was purring like a kitten. No bad vibes.
I get the same vibes out of my 2k2. It has improved since I switched to Shell but they're still there...

2k3 SE Max with same occasional rough idle. So, Nissan didn't do anything about it on the '03s. Wonder if the Infiniti G35, Nissan 350Z, etc do the samething(?).

I had the rough idle for a while and then I put on my stillen Y-pipe and the idle smoothed right out. I don't know why this helped but it did.
