I went to the local nissan dealer a couple days ago inquiring about a 2001 AE in Sterling Mist, charcol leather w/ manual trans. He had one AE on the lot, Majestic Blue w/ auto. Well, I must say the AEs look amazing. One glance and I fell in love...and I hadn't even gotten into the driver's seat yet. Anywayz I'm fighting for one in Sterling Mist with manual trans. I've spent a total of about 5 hours calling every dealer in the state and so far no luck. If anyone happens to know where I can find this setup in the West coast area, please let me know. Thanks

 

Ask one of the dealers to do a search for you. If you have trouble, you can try asking for the Fleet Manager, but a good salesman can help you. They can do a computer search and tell you very quickly if that combo is available. They searched Cali, Arizona, and NM for me.

 

Whatever you do don't settle for the automatic (since
you want the 5spd). You'll end up regretting it.

I think I finally found what I'm looking for...after numerous hours on the phone, somewhat of abuse from the sales reps(ahh, I think so...when they laugh at you and your hopes to finding the car) and running up the phone bill like crazzzzy. I'm going to the dealer firs thing tomorrow morning. Thanks again, I'll be sure to post up that status.
