Question about Grill-Tech

Does their valence grill sit behind or in front of everything? I think I read that it sits behind, but it looks to bright and visible to be behind. The reason I am asking this is because I am making my own grill, and I need to know if I should make it for the front or the back.

the vendor supplies them. They fit between the small holes off to the side. The zip ties are pretty small so they don't stick out

Good luck making your own! That's what I should have done; it would have been faster than waiting for those Grill-Tech bozos to ship my valence.
