anyone with Venom400

i was wondering if anyone had any expierence with the Venom 400, its a ECU upgrade, kinda like the Jet system except its a seperate system.

http://www.venom-performance.com/NF/Html/v400/v400.htm

they also claim that it will incrase hp and torque up to as much as 25%

Summit Racing is selling them for $300, is this really worth the money?

i did another search and found some comments about this product from a year ago saying that all this thing does is trick the ecu to thinking your on the throttle a little more. like if you on the throttle 1/2 way then it tells it your on the throttle 3/4 the way. this is what people were saying and not actual proof. does anyone actually hve first hand expierence?

Don't waste your money, I did, and it was the worst mod I ever did. The venom 400 tells the computer to opebn the throtle more when you are at lower rpm's. In principle, it is a good I dea, but it really adds no hp, and if you are planning on racing with the car, you are going to be at wot, and there is no way to trick the ecu into opening the throtle body to more than wot.

In short save the money and buy something else.
