Is there a write up on HU removal?

I tried to do a serach for this but did not find anything. i was wondering if anyone has done a write up on taking out the HU or installing extra wiring required for the 6 disc changer. Thanks!

Fairly simple, just remove the top AC vent and there are two screws there, remove them both.

Then remove the Ash tray like deal, remove the one screw in there, and lift up the shift console dash/cover, and you will see two lower screws that hold the bracket. Remove them both, then unplug and the whole bracket holding the radio and AC controls is in your hand.

It may be simple in that it does not require 50 steps, but there is NOTHING simple about removing the AC vents. But yes, BigDog is right about what you do. If you have any trouble just write back, I had to remove my HU like 10 times while I was installing my deck, so I'm a PRO

Ok, I am running wire to the back trunk. Is it tough getting the wire run under the carpet back to the trunk?
