well, ups delivered my package today. h&r springs. the box did not look damaged in anyway. however, close inspection of the springs revealed small scratches/nicks on the springs. is this normal? or did i get someone's return spring?

 

they should have been wrapped in sheets of a sort of foam and separated from the other springs by cardboard, right? so no nicks should have occured in transit. i guess it is possible that you got returned springs. i wouldnt really be concerned with it because im sure they work just fine. but it couldnt hurt to call H&R and ask for some sort of compensation.
