engine problems, possibly because of an air purifier??

Ok, so the problem still happening to the car, but rare now (read my post http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?threadid=156132). I got a Free diagnostic from Autozone tonight.
There are two PowerTrain codes:
302 – Cylinder number 2 misfire detected
1302 – Ignition signal primary circuit fault
The first one is understandable. BTW, which one is the number 2? Looks like the middle one, but is it the front one or the rear one? The spark plugs should be fine, because I’ve just changed them. So, it is probably bad ignition coil. But why do I have this problem not all the time, but only maybe once a week? And what exactly does the second code mean?
Here is another thing I’ve noticed, that may be the source of my problem. I got a ‘Ionic Breeze Car Air Purifier’ from SharperImage (http://www.sharperimage.com/us/en/ca...html?sku=SI633 don’t ask why.. And I think, the car started to give me problems once I’ve started to use this air purifier. So I’ve stopped using it for a while and there were no problems with the car. After a week or so, I’ve tried to use it again, and after few minutes of having it on, the engine started to shake again. I’ve stopped using it, and so far, it’s fine. So I assume, that this device is causing this problem to the Max. Why??? Weird stuff. Any ideas???

I'm not trying to bust your *****, but the ionic breeze does not work. They have no clinical proof that they work and I've read a few reviews stating the same. Here's a link to one that has clinical proof to kill mold, bacteria and clean the other usual stuff. They do have or will have the car purifier soon. I believe they are getting all of the clinical testing on the car purifier completed.

The air purifier is electrostatic (ionic) which means it has a DC voltage in it of at least 5000 volts. This device would generate a ton of electro magnetic interference. Try moving it to different areas of your car and see if the problems go away. Plug number 2 is on the bank nearest the firewall and is closet to the driver's side. Yes, it is the worst one to work on! Hope this helps

Wrap your ignition coils in aluminum foil and see if that helps...

The Airsource works very good at removing smells. I didn't believe it until I tried it.
