Indiglo Gauges for GXE/GLE?

I was surfing the web looking for Indiglo gauges for my 2K1 GXE Maxima, when I stumbled across this fellow's site:

MaxDoogie's Site

I was checking out his pics when I saw this:

Indiglo gauges for the GXE/GLE! Not reverse indiglo, sure, but still very cool! Where are these available? I can't find anyone on the web selling them...

Re: Indiglo Gauges for GXE/GLE?

I'm so dumb sometimes.

I e-mailed MaxDoogie asking where he got them, and he said, "Ebay." Sure enough, I do a search and find a set almost immediately. It just goes to show, you just need to know where to look to find stuff on the Internet.

Here's the auction in case anyone else wants to see: (I bought them, BTW )

Do the needles just pop off on the gauges? You just pull them off?

those things would be highly annoying driving around all the time with the 'ghost' of the idiot/warning lights floating around like that.

they should have left the lower left and right corners of the cluster alone.

You might be able to just cut those parts off, sealt he raw edge, and you're good to go. Maybe, I dunno.

You are right. If you don't need them, you can just disconnect a plug.

Hehehe...That's my car

The gauges slide right over the needles and they are very easy to install...took less than an hour to do the entire thing thanks to Cheston's write up on doing them for the 4th gens (process is exactly the same).

And yes, if you don't want the lower left and right pieces, you can simply unplug them.
