weird power window lock

I noticed today that if I put the window lock on, it disables all the window switches on the driver's door except the switch for the driver's window. Shouldn't the driver still be able to control the other 3 windows if the lock is on?

Re: weird power window lock

it depends on the manufacturer... some disable all the switches and some only disable the remotes (so the driver can still put them up/down)

this is how nissan wanted it. I thought it was weird that the lock also locked out the front passenger window. I thought the lock should have been for the rear windows and would like to "re-enable" the front passenger. Anyone know how to do that?
