I worked on his campaign here in MN. He was a great man with great vision. Set a side your political thoughts and differences and pray for his family.

 

Yeah that sucks, his family died with him on that plane crash.

I don't pray, but I will mourn for him. He seemed like a good guy, whom we need more of in gov't.

I live in MN, have all my life (28 years). Although I don't agree with a lot of his ideals because to me they border on socialism, and I must confess that I called him Paul Wellfare many more times than Wellstone, I feel it is a great tragedy. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

The weird thing for me is that I just send in a campaign contribution less than a minute before I found out about his death. I sent him some money over the internet and then I checked the headlines and found out about his crash. This is too much...

Tragedy yes, max related no. I get enough bad news from newspaper/TV, I don't need it here.

 

MN State law says that if something tragic happens or a sudden illness that is terminal prior to 16 days of an election, they have until 4 days prior to the election to replace said person on the ballot. Rumors floating around are Walter Mondale and Alan Page right now. Thanks for your thoughts.
