those only look good on lincolns when the whole car is chromed out, not on a maxima.

That Maxima has to be one of the ugliest ones I have seen. Please don't do it. Did you want to put gold and silver spoked wheels on there too? with the tire sticking about 2 feet out on each side? Braham.... this is a Max.

Take a look at the people driving cars with those chrome fender flares. They are generally wanna-be ghetto thugs.

If you are for "show", then go to a car show and see how many cars there have those things on them. Chances are that you'll be looking for a car that has them all day.

 

Yeah, I think they're ghetto. There's this green 5th gen SE that has them here at school with some 17" rims that look like Momos (the one Big Dog has) but aren't and it looks really tacky.

Wow...all these negative comments on those flares. I think they would look good. However, I think you could further improve their looks by painting them body color

 

Arizona is the only state in the US that has 'wanna-be ghetto thugs'. Other cities have people who are genuine thugs, and those who want to get themselves outta the ghetto.

I honestly cannot see how you could want these downby, maybe it is the clarity of my monitor and videocard that enable me to see how absolutely disgusting those things are! With those, your car is gonna be all show, with no hoe in the seat.

 

I'd put one of those bug deflectors that stick straight up in the air on my car before I'd ever get those chrome fender flares. Then again the color of your car may make it look different. What color is your car?

 

I think we are all glad that you decided not to go with the GHETTO look on such a nice car. Please be advised that it is our duty to make sure that the MAX's out there keep a prestine look. I had a 92 Sentra with those chrome fenders and the Dayton wire wheels, the car sat on the ground, but this was about 6 years ago. Anyway, looks like your wife has good taste, LISTEN TO HER!!!
