Help, my car is idling too low!

All of a suddden my car has been occasionally idling low when i start the car or when i put the car into neutral whening approaching a stoplight. the rpms will fall below 500 and it sometimes stalls out. anybody have any idea of what the heck is wrong!

could it be your alternator?....

clean out your throttle body... my car was doing that... after throttle body cleaning.. all perfect again

i had the same problem with my max.. all you have to do is tighten the throttle cable.. but don't tighten it too tight or you max will be idling too high... there is 2 nuts you need to loosen and tighten.. i shouldn't be that hard..

In the past when I have had problems with idling. One time it was caused by a dirty tb. So I cleaned it and all was well after that. The other time it was a dirty air filter.. And most recently my maf blew out.. But I found out that it is pretty cheap to replace. Got mines for like $79 from DaveB from Town Nissan...
