What did you pay for your 2003 Maxima SE?

I went to a Hillside Nissan on Rt. 22 in NJ. I was looking to get a base SE. I was quoted $22,400 for it, which I think is a good price since that's a few grand under the invoice price on edmunds.com and the invoice sheet that I saw. MSRP was around $26k+ and he'll even throw in more options. He was really persistent for me to put a deposit down. What do you guys think? Is it worth it for the Titanium Package? I may want that option and maybe sunroof. What options did you get on yours?

I paid $26,200 for my loaded 2003 SE (except Navigation and mud guards). It turned out to be around $1,100 under invoice. I was happy with the deal.

BE VERY CAREFUL!!!
READ ALL THE FINE PRINT!!!

Those guys at Hillside are crooks. They will call you up a day or two after you put down your deposit with extra fees or options. Make sure you get absolutely everything in writing and read it carefully. Ask them exactly how much it will cost for you to walk out the door with it and then make them sign it before you put down any money.

My brother stopped payment on a check he wrote to them after they called him up and gave him a BS story.

I bought my 2k3 at Hilltop Nissan.

Mine is fully loaded. Navi, 6 speed, Titanium, Meridian -- everything. I paid invoice + $300 in Tennessee.

Hoe did you get $7K under MSRP on a 03 model; how many miles on it?

That's probably why they got such a low deal, my quote price included the $1000 incentive rebate. I'll think I'll check Springfield during lunch.
