apex-i RSM questions

is this the right one kev? Apex-i RSM

if so, i have a few questions. how accurate is this thing? i'm sure it's gotta be getter than the gtech, but in the real world is this going to give reliable numbers?

also, how involved is the wiring? it seems that it would somehow have to tap into the ecu for rpm/speed. i don't actually have a problem with that since the gtech's accuracy is so dependant on the mounting angles which obviously will change every time you use it. i'd prefer to hardwire. but at the same time, it'd be nice to run it in a buddy's car from time to time for comparisons...

finally, and most importantly, how useful is this device?? it seems that without the optional G-sensor, it would have limited uses since i don't need a $270 electronic speedometer.

thanks.

Yup, that's the right one. How accurate? Independant tests in import mags found it to be pretty close.

Wiring isn't too involved. Here's some of what you need to tap into: http://boostedmaximas.com/ecu_pins.jpg

Not important... I wanted it for the speed limiter cut.
