Sparkplugs

I know this topic has posted before but I am curious if anyone has used other brand of sparkplugs beside the OEM/NGK platimum plugs?
I am currently used the haloplugs, http://www.haloplug.com in my second car (90' sentra) and I noticed smoother operation and better response. Since the 90's sentra engine doesn't have complicated electrical/emission control sensors, I can only wonder if the newer car will benefit from the wide-nongapped plugs without complication? BTW, They are similar to the torquemaster sparkplug, http://www.torquemaster.com in design, which I had tried before, but IMHO, the haloplugs are better! They have parts listing for the Maxima from 1995-2001.
Your response is greatly appreciated!
