I own a 91 SE w/ 165K and 92 300ZX TT, i think its time to upgrade the Max. I am thinking of a 2000 SE loaded 5 spd, lthr, etc. Does anyone know (or know a link that compares cars). I want to know what color combos are available. Any is there any reason i should look into buying the 2K1 instead. any info is appreciated.

HMM the FAQ's at the top of the page may have something about colors and whatnot, but i'm not sure. If you're buying at auction you should try and get yourself a 2k2. I bought my car from a dealer but they told me it was an auction car. Meaning it was probably a rental. Everyone here freaks when someone aks about rentals, but mine has been nothing but solid, and i doubt that i'll ever get mine to the track, its perfect for me. Anyway from the dealer my 2k2 was just a bit over 19k, not a bad deal. So they must have gotten it cheaper at the auction. Good luck either way.

Auction is in South Windsor, CT. It is a private dealer auction and i'll probably get some good deals. I know the only difference between 2000 and 2001 is the AE which has a factory areo kit, but i want to get stillen areo kit instead so its probably not worth getting the 2K1... Correctly me if i'm wrong but the 2K2 has clear tails and HID and 6 spd correct only, right? Is it 3.5 vs. 3.0? anyway, nice car. i am looking to get white w/ blk lthr.

P.S.- Not all 2001 were AE, though you probably knew that. One thing about the 2k2, there isn't a whole lot of aftermarket stuff for it yet.

You won't be able to get a White 2K2 with black leather. It was not available in that color combination. A white 2K2 only comes with either a Blonde or Frost Interior.
