Sway bar is nice and the FSTB looks pretty good. You pay up the wazzoo for 'em though.

They are great

I have both Stillen parts and they are absolutely wonderful...I had the Stillen FSTB first for about 4 months before I got the RSB, but I can tell you together they make a world of difference. Turning is no longer a scary, boat-like prospect.

Consensus here is that the Stillen RSB while very good, provides no benefit over the Addco RSB. The Addco is only about $120 compared to Stillen at around $300. Several people have tried both and liked the Addco better. The FSTB is a toss up. I prefer the Stillen based on looks, design and fit. Other FSTB's have issues with the bolts not being strong enough and not fitting as well. Although Stillen is high, you can never pay enough for peace of mind.

i like both my stillen fstb and rsb... never had any problems.. perfect fit.

i believe avalonracing is having free shipping on all products over 100 bucks... so you can get it from them if you can't find anywhere else cheaper.

Re: Re: woops

Thanks for the tips guys. I can't do the reat stut brace because of the box I have in the rear. Am I going to miss much ? I have read the combination I chose is good enough, let me have some of your opinions. Also, is the install pretty easy? Is it difficult removing the stock RSB? I wanted to do this myself, I am still a car mod newbie.

Re: Re: Re: woops

The frount strut bar is really easy. On my car all i had to do was remove the three bolts on each strut and then place the bar inbetween and tighten it down. Then you tighter the bar itsself. Stillen is really good because they give you directions so it will be an easy install. Also I have 2 JL's in my trunk and I do not have a rear strut bar and I do not notice a big difference but I guess that is because I have never had one . Who knows.... anyways enjoy your new stillen stuff.

Rear Strut Brace...now there's an oxymoron

if I ever saw one!
You dont need a rear shock tower strut brace. None of us need rear shock tower strut braces. Most four-door sedans dont need rear shock tower strut braces.

Our cars -which are not hatchbacks and hence have PLENTY of material/bracing/bulkheading/ etc etc ad nauseum around the whole rear seat/fenderwell/C-pillar assembly- do NOT need rear shock tower strut bracing...that is THE most rigid part of the car -period.

Dont waste your money on this....please

I wouldn't, I already have my system back there... I was just curious to see what you guys had to say. Anyways, waht do you guys think of the SE's stock springs and struts? Have you guys replaced those as well?

if you are talkin about RSB as in rear sway bar, our multi-link beam axle is one... the only problem, it flexes way to much so, hence people add the aftermarket RSB to stiffen the flex....

stillen is nice and all but you're paying double on something that does the same thing as the ADDCO RSB...

If you got money to buy Banana Republic then do so.... I'd go with Gap or Old Navy and use the extra dough saved for other performance enhancing stuff.... You catch my drift?

I have yet to get my FSTB.....
