Have fun cleaning it. I did the same thing with my Ford Probe in high school and I never was able to get all the mud out from the wheel wells and undercarriage. Make sure you inspect the engine really good too. I'd put it on ramps and pressure wash it from underneath if I were you.

I use to get down and dirty with my 90 volvo 740. I use to always hit up this big field and I covered the car mud too, lol. RWD is a lot more fun in the dirt!

You're talking to a completely obsessive compulsive guy who waxes the inside of his wheels once a week. That car would be claybarred and waxed 3 times by midnight if it were mine.

When I first read the subject, I got kind of scared you got into an accident. Then I look at the pics and I am like holy crap! Why would you do that to a maxima!? I hope there weren't many rocks...

P.S. Being 17 myself, I am obsessive with keeping my car clean. Today I was taking all the leaves off my car (especially where the wipers are)

Looks like you got mud inside nice job!!! I guess it is true...that kids like to play in the dirt. If you are going to be doing that, it looks like you should have opted for a late model SUV. That would be exhibit A, in a trial against kids driving nice 1st cars.

Ever consider joining the SCCA? They do some events which are pretty much what you just did, except timed. They do field rallys, where you're doing real off-road rally courses, just no trees to hit. They use cones. Might wanna consider it.

If you want a car that goes in the mud, you need to give me your max and head over to the Subby dealership.

maybe you thought I did because I traded with someone for 02 taillights?

Yah it wasnt funny yesterday when I tried driving over 40, AFTER washing it for at least half an hour with a power washer, and the steering wheel was all over the place and i felt like my nozzle lights were gonna fall off After I cried a lil I cleaned out my rims and it was perfect again, hard to image a lil' mud could f--- up the balencing that much...

Note to self: Next time I'm racing a one of you nos-ed or sc-ed maximas I'm gonna attach a 1lb weight to one of your guys' rims

So I just have to ask: Why the radar detector? Did you really expect to run into a speed trap in the middle of a field?

Oh, and you're crazy doing that in a Max. I cry when a bug hits my car. I couldn't imagine clumps of mud. That kind of stuff is what trucks were invented for
