Hlsd

Stupid question I guess, but if you bought a Max and it doesnt have the HLSD, can you get it aftermarket or installed by the dealership? What does it run if you can?

thanx

Differentials are usually pricey...Cattman sells the Quaife (not for the '02/'03) for around $1400. So, with Nissan's pricing model, I'd bet their HLSD is around $2500. Email DAVEB to find out.

I think this is only one of very limited options which makes sense to get it FACTORY, as opposed to a stereo for example, which you can get a better one for less money aftermarket. But for the HLSD, I think it's better to get the factory one ($399 MSRP for the option). This is def cheaper than what you'll have to pay to get it aftermarket.
