Ok so I decide to take off my MM evo5's b/c the kumho tires on them suck in snow & it started snowing today here in Chicago.
Now my problem is that one of the lug nuts was tighten slanted & stripped the tread of the screw...so finally got the friggin nut off. Put the winter rim w/ snow tire on but I can't put on any lug nuts on the screw b/c the tread is stripped. So basically I have 4 out of 5 lugs on my front passenger rim....
Is it safe to drive from Chicago to NY? Because I leave tomorrow....or should I get this fixed somewhere & if so where? how much would it cost? and how long do you think it would take them to fix it?
Thanks
