2003 Max

Hello,

Okay thanks to everyone that replied to my post about a 2003 Maxima SE. My question now is that once I get the car, I'll be doing a good 1 long highway trip per month starting in April (ie Virginia to Corpus Christi or Key West). Will the Maxima hold up at 90mph+ steady on the highway? It won't overheat will it?

Thanks

come on buddy. are you serious? no, its not likely that your max will overheat at 90+ for extended periods of highway driving. they are (as people have said before) built very - the engines, that is. So, your new max, after breaking it in (3-5000k miles), will treat you right if you treat it right.

It's a Maxima not a 1980s Ford Taurus!

90mph+ STEADY??? I think your bank account will overheat after you get all the speeding tickets. Are cops non-existent on that stretch?
Not flaming, but going 90+ steady is quite a risk, considering you'll be doing this every month.
