Well like I said in another thread, I got a new Maxima in Sept. 2002. It is a 2003 GXE. I was not interested in the leather and optional equipment on the other models. I am pretty much satisfied with the performance of the car.

In regards to the thread where the guy wrecked his Maxima in Southern California when it was raining, I too noticed that my car did not handle that well during this rain that we had this past week. I live in Southern Cali as well. Many things could have pointed to why the accident happened but I have a question. I have the Goodyear's on the Max. Should I consider changing tires? What other little mods could I do to make this car handle a little bit better? Also I have noticed that the alignment is already off. Is this common in these cars since this is my first Nissan? I moved from having a Honda Civic.

The Max that I have is Sheer Silver with frost interior. I noticed that the inside gets dirty quickly. What is the best solution to use inside of the car? And what the heck is up with the little noise that is coming from the dash of the car? Annoying!!!

All in all I LOVE this car and am just now getting used to it. Just a little bit inconsistancies, once I get these taken care of, all will be will. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
