adding HLSD to a regular 6 speed

I feel like such a tard for not getting HLSD int he first place, for a 400 dollar option. I recently asked my service manager, he said it would require an entire new tranny and new axels. and said it could cost upward 3 grand. what bull****! Has anyone done this?
To help i'm adding rsb and fstb but i wanna corner and launch! Wtf

it's not bull, it's a new tranny (basically). You should have thought ahead and spent the $400 up front. $3k sounds a little high but not out of the ballpark. Don't bash service for your lack of foresight.

Also, there are people who've added limited slip so it can be done. Search for quafe, lsd, and phantom and enjoy the reading.

I was just complaining, I wasn't "bashing service". I don't think I'm going to add it, it's a pretty huge investment for a car that i've owned for one year and already poured money on. I like how it drives, I guess.

will i notice a huge difference if i add it? I usually can't launch the thing so i just wait till i'm moving to gun it... I'm not really into like street racing or going to the track. I want the car to handle much better though in the corners and stuff.

In a straight line with clean dry pavement a HLSD equipped max will have no advanage over a normal max. HLSD prety much helps when your taking a corner and flooor it, it reduces torque steer.

It's not worth 3K IMO.

AFAIK Quaiffe and Phantom doesn't have applications for the 2k2 yet.

Eh, those Potenza's throw favor to the HLSD. It's like driving on wet pavement 24/7 with those things.
