kudos to the dudes at FrankenCar, Steve and Scott, for fulfilling my request for a 2k1 midpipe without the Air Temp Sensor (ATS) hole.

i actually like the stock placement of the ATS and was looking for a midpipe, so i decided to email FrankenCar asking for:

1) 2k1 midpipe without the ATS hole and
2) ship to Canada via USPS declaring as "Gift" with a value under $60 to avoid paying Customs and Duties

Steve said that he'd have the midpipe custom-made and would ship via USPS....and a few weeks later, here is the result: pics - 2k-2k1 FrankenCar Midpipe No ATS Hole

I wish I had thought of that! I have tape blocking the hole till I find a rubber grommet to fill it. I left my AMB temp sensor in the stock location because I wanted the air scoop to still bring cold air in.
