Trying to find the best price on a Viper 550 ESP online and ....
can't find any. E-bay has a used one, but I want a new one in the box. Anybody?????

Actually, I bought mine @ ebay for $180 shipped NEW. Local installation requires $400 tough. It sucks! Why dont you get the newer DEI 790VX? It has LCD screen and it's a 2 way-pager (responder). If you live in the east coast, you might want to get hold of Don. Go to the search page, select Group Deals forum and search for viper 550. You will find a user, Pearl96Max. He is an alarm expert. Go ask him.

 

Installation shouldn't be that bad, this will be the third Max I have done. Looked at the LCD remote pieces, don't think I want to spend that kind of money. Your 180.00 dollar figure is the only pricing I've seen. Can't believe I can't find these online.

Main reason you cant find them online is beause Viper does not allow the dealer to sell the alarm alone, it has to be sold INSTALLED. This is for all authorized dealers. If not they are not authorized like all the sellers on eBay. Which is no big deal if you know how to install alarms. Best place would be eBay for that.
