painting valve cover...(small plastic cover on the valve cover)

whats the best way to paint the little plastic V6 3000 cover thats on top of the valve cover? i want to paint it red like ive seen somewhere on this site but i wanna find out the best way to go about it first! thanks in advance!

Just be patient and apply the paint in layers. Maybe about 3-4 coats while drying inbetween and use clearcoat for the last coat.
Most ppl use high temp paint but I used regular household spray paint and it's still lasting.
