New here, 30K checkup, TIRES, FTSB
Fellow VQ fans, Pardon, I'm new here and am hitting 3 birds with one stone.
Tires - I know the FAQ on tires for my 17 X 7's, as for my 31500 RE92's, I'm sick of sliding around in them and am going for some Nitto 450's at Radial Tire in Silver Spring MD. Question is, are these tires worse, comparable, or better than OEM's. If better, I'm going forward. I can't drop 900 for Pilots, don't want RE92's and I'm all too familiar with the FAQ on odd size tires and the risks involved.
Maintenance - i will do my own 30k servide off the manual and get my local mechanic that I trust with my unborn kids to handle the stuff I can't do. This does not void any aspect of my warranty, correct?
MODS - The FTSB, for those who have one, is it a very noticeable improvement in front in rigidity while driving at slow, fast, all speeds? steering response?
Air Filter - Are any of these going to make a real difference in my AT car's accel., etc.?
Dealer Praise - I've read to the contrary, but so far my experiences with buying and getting my entire trunk packed and sub replaced on warranty at Brown's Fairfax VA Nissan has been very good. My mechanic there is Charter, tell him Ted Mills sends you if you go. He's fair. I'm about to get judder and wind noise fixed on warranty.

welcome aboard!
1) clicky
click again
2)
3) get RSB first. addco, cattman, and stillen are your choices. i have fstb and rsb, and it took a while for me to notice any difference until i removed them and drove stock. rsb made much more of a difference than the fstb.
4) LOTsa threads on the different intakes. but if you're talking about just swapping the stock filter for a k&n panel, i don't think it's too great of a difference.

Welcome to the org
Don't forget to stop by the local board when you have a chance:

I cannot comment on the Nittos but nothing could be worse than RE92's with 31K on them.
Nice tip on Browns, that is about the only dealership in the area that has ever been praised, a couple of members go there.

Tires
-Cutlr7 (lives in Fairfax) has the nitto 450's on his car. He told me that they are good in the dry and so-so in the rain. PM him for more info.
FSTB
-this suspension bar is most noticeable at high speeds. The effect is not drastic, but the cost of the bar is not high, either.
Air Filter-
Changing your air filter will not make a huge difference. The improvement will be subtle.
