I went to the dealer to get my mounts inspected, and foudn that the rear mount has a tear in it..

So i gotta book a service appointment for replacement. Just letting you guys know.

Would this be the cause of the excessive jerky feeling in traffic in 1st 2nd and 3rd??

Ever time i let off the gas the car jerks viciously..

I have a 6speed..

my car jerks when i let off the gas too. but that only happens when i'm in 1st gear and i let off the gas around 5mph, is that normal, or could there be something wrong w/ my car? its pretty annoying in parking lots, but i could live w/ it...

Say if your in gear at a low speed and there seems to be "play" between accelerating and deccelerating it maybe a motor mount. Raise your hood rev the car in neutral, look at the engine for excessive movement. Also look for evidence of the intake hitting the hood on a '02-'03.
