Does anyone think a shifter out of a 350z will work in a 2k2 Max?
I was thinking a 350z shifter is shorter than the Max and would fit with the reverse adapter.

cant say for sure but i do hope so because i want a shorter shifter.

well i know the reverse lock out on the X is different then the max, they push the shifter down

I dont believe so
350z/g35coupe engines are longitudinally (excuse my bad spelling) whereas the maxima has a transversly (again bad spelling) mounted engine. Thus, it is definitely not a drop-in mod.

won't work. Z's shifter sits right on the tranny, while Maxima's is a stick with linkages.
