There was someone who tried using an LED strip once but he said it didnt fit right. I've wanted one too for a long time, but I've been afraid to rip up my spoiler and actually try it. I know you can get like certain lengths of strips online, but none specifically for the maxima yet that I know of.

Well the stock size LED is 15.5"
This one might fit since its the same length, but who knows about height.

Its only 23 bucks, so maybe I could give it a shot and find out.

Ben Blanco did it, maybe he can help us out some.

yeah i just completed this mod on my white 5th gen a month ago & it looks bad a$$...i bought the clear led from HERE (please keep in mind its not plug & play & middle two tabs need to be shaved off...but with 1 hour or less of work it looks stock & perfect)

p.s. as soon as cardomain or yahoo.photos.com accepts my pics i'll post...not sure why it not work...unless anybody else wants to host or knows a site i can try

actually it's not hard at all...also i did it w/o removing spoiler too...to get it to stay i used clear silcone & also drilled 2 new holes to also keep it in place...

p.s. - i'll have How-To up as soon as i can, but being the holiday season i'm busy w/ g/f & she'll put me in doghouse if i spend too much time on internet A man's gotta have some everyday u know

Yeah not to keen on the drilling idea. Great idea though, but me + drill + Nissan Paint = disaster.
