Thats almost the exact price I paid for mine, and with the mudguards too. I don't know if you can haggle much lower than that.

How many dealerships have you been to? I would doubt that you can haggle MUCH more, but you can probably get another $400-500 off. This is the best time of the year to buy a car, so I think you can definitely get a really good deal. This is a good deal though, don't get me wrong, but if another several hundred matter, then try to shop this price around, and see if anyone else wants to beat it.

I got mine fully loaded, 2003, 6 speed, everything but navi, for $25,828, a month ago (this is for your reference).

Also, go to www.quirknissan.com. This is a dealership in MA (volume dealer), and click on their "Advertised Specials" link. They're selling base SE's at $20,999. I know you live in IL, but they all pay the same price on the cars, so if this dealer can do it, your's should be able to come close.

There are three 2002 SEs (5K-10K miles) in the Kansas City paper listed at $17K-18K. Just to give you reference of the resale of these cars
