Well thanks to the ORG I got the fuel cut TSB done over the weekend. It definitly helps a lot, but I'm still having some trouble getting a smooth launch in first.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Is it just because I'm not used to it yet? Sometimes I can seem to get it pretty smooth, but its pretty rare.

Interestingly, if the car is rolling just a little, such as when I'm on a downhill slope, it is very easy to get a good launch.

I had my first manual trans. Since I got my 2k2 in Septemper of 2002, the way I practice is drive around a College campus for like an hour a day and in less than a month, its a Guarentee Improvement.
