I was wondering. A friend of mine has 2002 Maxima, and he got a dyno power rating i think around 252. Are all maximas affected with with 15HP deficit, or some. Also, I am getting no where near the posted MPG. Can people post their average please? My average is 22.4 mpg. Thanks.

 

There is a HUGE thread near the top of this forum on the whole 15 hp issue and a search will turn up several threads discussing mileage and factors that influence it.

 

252 to the wheels? Stock? A stock 02 should dyno around 200-215 depending on whether it's auto or stick. Now if he's got nitrous or something then it's possible. As for the 15 hp deficit, there are a number of threads going... start by checking the sticky at the top of the 5th gen forum.

 

DUDE~!! dont complain~!!! ur MPG is so high~!!! i think i have one of the worst...being...10-14 street and 17-20 highway....

 

Is that 22.4 mpg on the trip computer or actual calculation? The trip computer is around 3 mpg too high.
