RT Cat Direction???
RT Cat Direction???
Does anybody know how to tell which direction to install the RT Cat? I remember there being a specific instruction about installing it with the label facing a specfic direction. Well, I put the gen2 Cattman Y on and removed the cat to do so...the labels on the cat have all melted off. I have been hearing a somewhat odd vibration out of the exhaust during moderate acceleration and was going to lift the car this weekend to check all the bolts down there. I thought I'd check the direction too just in case it is contributing to the vibration.
I'm guessing I would throw a code if I had the thing backwards, but just checking.
Thanks folks.

Mine went on with the sticker facing down. You should be able to see the outline of the sticker I think. When I took mine off I could still definitely tell which side had the sticker.

I'll see what I can do. Thanks.

I think there was a sticker on both sides...one was a warning and one was the RT logo.
I'll see what I can do. Thanks.

I just purchased this cat from e-bay and on the cat itself is a sticker which shows the direction for input output. When I get home tonight I will pm you. I'm going to install this cat this weekend. I've heard some mixed reviews however about this cat, or any cat. Good luck with the install.

does it really matter? As long as the arrow indicating 'flow' is pointing in the right direction, why would it matter whether you mounted it 'up' or 'down'. The only thing I can think of making a difference is the location of the heat shield. The heat shield on my RT cat fell off a long time ago anyways
