New to me FrankenCar..

I'm gonna install it this weekend (NE weather permitting). I've read all the relavent posts, and printed the instructions from the website, but I just wanna ask all those who have installed one on a 2k what sticks out as a pain in the a$$ when installing it. It's a complete unit mid-pipe + K&N. Some posts say a couple hours, some say a half an hour. I'd like to avoid a chebosto experience. So any time saving tips or things to watch out for would be cool. Thanx..

Remember where all the bolts to the OEM intake go. Don't lose any of the OEM bolts. Other than that, you can pretty much do it with just pictures.

Just take your time when you have to take out the temperature sensor from the stock air scoop. You hve to cut the plastic wire loom to pull ou some slack so it can go into the midpipe. Just take your time on everything so you don't lose your patience

I don't understand this statement.

There is a temperature sensor that is plugged into the stock air scoop. In order to remove that and have it plug into the Frankencar midpipe you have to pull out more slack for the wires. The wires are enclosed in a plastic wire loom on the left side of the battery. You need to cut open the tape and pull out the wires for the temperature sensor in order for it to be long enough to plug into the mid pipe. Does that make snese?

Only thing I plugged into the intake path was the rubber hosing that goes on the long arm of the midpipe and the MAF. The MAF was the only thing that had wiring. I saw nothinng else and there was nothing else to plug into my midpipe. I'm confused.

That's because 2k2's and 2k3's don't have that temperature sensor. This only applies to 00-01's. That's why Frankencar asks you to specify the year.
