I dunno, but I think that max might have not been trying, then again I dont know much about the Spec-V's. and whats the timing advance? Is it something to do with the spark plugs firing?

Yeah if i'm not mistaken sometime back there was a Spec V that gave Baggs33 a challenge up until about 100 or so. I say that the the guy in the Maxima may have not been racing at first, but when he found out this guy was it was a little too late. The Spec V had already caught him. Just my 2 cents though.
