Yakima Bike Rack

Just installed my new Yakima bike rack on my '02 6 Speed. I know when i was doing my research, I was desperately trying to find pics of 5th Gen's with racks. Hope this helps anyone else looking to buy a rack. Check out page 2 of my homepage...

BTW,
I'll be installing my Clarion Sirius Satellite Tuner in the coming days. I'll be sure to post pics of that too.

Great racks! I also have them. From your pictures, I believe you need to move the back bar further back to meet the minimum recommended distance requirements between the bars. Check your instructions. Good luck!

Back Bar

I followed the instructions implicity. In fact, it took over 3 hours to get everything "just right." I agree that the back bar looks like it's way too close to the front bar. I called Yakima this morning and they confirmed the measurements. The only way the back bar could go back further is if I purchase the stretch kit. Anyone else have this problem?
