Blown dashboard fuse on Max

I was installing an Aiwa CD player in my car this weekend and blew the dashboard fuse. Looked in the owners manual, worst excuse for manual that I've ever seen. Called Nissan Courtesy Nissan and Richardson for help. First asked parts, no dice. Next called service, vazztards were about as helpful as a dead dog in the middle of the road. Anyone have any idea where this fuse is located. I know that the car has three fuse boxes but I'd like to know more specifically where it is. Has anyone else had that problem happen?

its a fuse in the fuse compartment located inside the car underneath and to the left of the steering wheel. Take 1 fuse out at a time and check to see which 1 is blown

The manual did not really help. Not trying to act ignorant. Any chance you can tell me which one it is? I'm sure you would know if you've replaced it several times. Also, did you have to buy if from Nissan, or did you go to the local parts store? If so, how much was it? Thanx.
