HID bracket is CRACKED!!!!

I have had my car for a year now, and I just noticed that the bracket that holds the HID in place is cracked around the bolt that holds it to the frame of the car. One of the two on each side is cracked in exactly the same fashion. It almost seems as if someone tightened the bolts down too much. So, does anybody else have this problem?, and what are the chances that Nissan will fix it? Thanks as ususal

I tightened mine down pretty tight by hand with TimW's security bolts. No cracks.

Instead of going through the hassel of the dealer, how about a bigger washer?

I am just goin to take them to nissan and make them fix it ....maybe they will let me keep the old pair, he he he...if they refuse to fix it, then atleast it will be on record that i complained. Then i will just go home and rip them out, and tell them that they fell out driving down the road... suckers
