2k max headlights question

I was wondering what is the safest way to disassembly my headlights for my angel eyes project. I know that some heat them in the oven and let the glue melt, but that is too risky because i am an amature. Any suggestions would greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
aZnkid

What? You are doing angel eyes on the 2k headlights? I doubt that is possible! And how are you running a 6.53 0-60?

I have been told that on the 2k-2k1 headlights there are little plastic clips along the black on the top and bottom of the casing that will release the cover.

It is possible, but it would look weird due to the shape of our headlights....oh and there is also glue

How is it possible? The BMW angel eyes have the projector headlight on the outside, and the angel eye ring on the inside. The 2k-2k1 headlights only have one bulb meaning the only time you could ever see the rings is if you are driving at night without your headlights on.

It could be done, but it wouldnt necessarily look good at all. I guess you could do the turn signal part? You could do the headlights if you did the foglight rewire, but it would only be good for an hour a day or so...

Wow! thanks for the reply guys. now i know it is impossible. But anyways my time 6.53 is by taking all the stuff out of the trunk included the spare tire (Vyrus was in the car with me to witness this). I am running umder a stock car. It seems not accurate because i am using the Gtech. No one have tried the angel eyes on the 2K, i know it wouldnt be wise to try but still gonna try it out becuase it doesnt hurt to try. Thanks for the comments guys
