while I like that theme, I really have to be careful how much maxima related stuff I have around the office. People think I'm already too obsessed with my car as it is. I'm like "whatever, just keep all your hoopties parked on the other side of the lot"

How true that is. People think I am a freak for wanting to spend all my time in my car or looking at my car on the web.

I have the same problem. Except people usually say "You know, the amount that you spent on your maxima, you could have gotten a 'better' car, like a lexus or acura." I take it that they are jealous because they are still riding around in their 93 hondas or 91 geo's *shrug* Apparently they haven't driven a 2002 Maxima before.. I drove the other ones and I didn't quite like the price sticker for the options it came with. Sure I could have gotten an Acura, if I wanted a used base model for the price I paid.

As for everyone else, they all think I spend too much time looking at everyone elses Maximas.

When I tried to get a license plate frame engraved with "MAXIMA", my sister and wife asked me why would I do that since I'm already driving one. I don't know what to explain but guess they will never understand.

Yes my girlfriend thinks I am nuts because I spend so much time on the org. Let alone buying and selling parts. One will come in the mail and she'll ask, "What's that?" I'll reply, "Oh, another mod for my Max!" Then she'll roll her eyes and sigh. I should start calling my Max "girlfriend repellant."
