Apexi or K&N

I've been checking out a lot of positive feedback on the frankencar intake.

Just want opinnions on K&N vs. Apex-i filters

I know that the K&N will cost less initially and with upkeep considering i can get a recharge kit for free from a friend who totalled his max. But yeah... Which one?

Thanks in advance
Eric

New MAF costs around $400-$500. I'd say the Apexi is cheaper
