Hidden Key FOBs Found!
So I'm removing the rear deck, and I decided I would remount my ground for my subs, which was behind the liner on the left side of the car when you are looking in from the outside. As I'm removing the ground, I notice some plastic bag at the bottom. I reach down to uncover 2 brand new, never used, still in plastic Key FOBs already programmed for my car. Can someone tell me what the hell these things are doing in my trunk? I already have 2 key fobs, but these ones are different. These ones have the blue lock and unlock buttons, and the ones i use have the black ones. The one I use is the same ones used on 2k2s and the ones i found look like ones from 2000 cars.

Either you got lucky when the dealer/manufacturer accidentally left 2 extra pre-programmed remotes without realizing they did, or.....
You're gonna have everyone and their mother on this site tearing apart their trunk looking for 2 extra key fobs. I say different or not, if they work, keep em!

I looked in the same place and found a $10 million dollar lotto ticket that expired last week.

Now I have 4 Key FOBs and 2 Keys. Too bad I didn't find the keys to a lamborghini or the instructions to build my own SC.
Hey...ther is one thing that bugs me about that whole story.
Now I am not trying to scare you but, if the dealer lost them in your car and programed you 2 new ones. That will delete ALL other remotes.
So all 4 remotes were programed on purpose. Question is why? Was there a mechanic at Nissan setting it up to steal and lost them or what. Hmmmmmmm

Is this true? If it is, it irritates me a bit. I doubt he would put them there to steal the car, because the alarm would go off and he would still need a key. Now, if I found a key in there, i would have a different attitude, but I'm sure nissan techs know how to turn off the alarm without a key FOB.
