Paint needed to paint tail lights and head lights
Alright, I've determined that I hate the way my tails look. I want to paint the outter red part black, to look like the SE tails but to not have that transparent look. I also want to paint the chrome-frame on my headlights black, so that they will look similar to AE headlights, but will have my own personal touch. What paint am I supposed to use? I'm guessing just any black paint won't, but what will? Thanks!
for the tails:
go to kragen/ pepboys/ whatever and get an automotive black spray spray paint. you might want to to sand and prep the area being painted to prevent fading. paint in light coats, sanding with 320 grit sandpaper in between coats. finish it off with clear coat spray.
for the headlamps:
you would probably be best off using a high temp resistant paint, so either regular high heat resistant paint (for bbq girlls, etc) or engine block paint should do. again it will probably come out better if you prep. i'm not sure about adding a clear coat tot he headlamps since i'm not sure if that stuff can resist the high temps.
good luck.

hahaha, i knew someone was gonna suggest that. I don't really like the way it looks with white, I think yours look awesome, but I think the black would look better with the white, and it will be the same color and probably shade of black as my tint.
