Any Long Islander's, Do Not Buy From

HEMPSTEAD OR WESTBURY NISSAN.

i have bought over 30 new cars in my lifetime and have never been ****ed around like i was last weekend

hempstead on saturday tried to **** me by low balling me on a 03 maxima se for $22k and then later telling me that they just wanted to see if i was "a real buyer" then came back with a price $1500 more.
told him to go f himself

sunday- westbury, made an offer of 22,500 a on car equipped the same way, a manager came over and said ok, you got a deal. you have done your homework. next lets see the finance manager
this little ****in twerp tells me that even tho i qualify for the 0.9 and $1000 rebate he ain't givin it to me because" we are not making money on the deal" and you have to buy an extended warranty or
or pay dealer financing. i said "you are not selling me the car", and he said no.

told him to shove the ****in car up his *** and left.

i called my friend at acura and bought a 03 tl for $4k more with 3.49% financing, an extra 4-6 grand

i reallly liked the max and wanted it, but every freakin dealer i met with is a thief

i put in complaints with the atty general and nisaan customer service

sorry its so long, but i am freaked out

That is unbelieveable! It's almost like they don't want to sell cars anymore. I went to Westbury and was turned off because they woundn't give me a price until I gave them a "Customer Offer". That's my signature and credit card on a piece of paper with a price tacked to it.

I ended up getting the car from Habberstad Nissan. They seeemed to care more about the reputation and repeat business rather than nickle and dimeing me to death.

If you did have time, it would have been funny to say that you want to buy 2 and then cancel at the last minute. Or take them on a test drive for 1 hour while beating the s*hit out of the car.

I hope you enjoy the Acura....did you get the Type-S? If not, I'll make sure to honk and wave when fly past you on the Northern State or LIE!

kick him when he's down...

It's not just Nissan... I went to buy a Dodge pickup last year and had the invoice in my hand. The salesman and then the finance guy both said the invoice I had was wrong (my prices were too low, yeah right). I knew my prices were right so I asked to see their invoice and was told "I'll only show it to you if you promise to buy the truck."

My wife left the showroom before I was done yelling and there was a trail of people behind her.

I've also had similar experiences (although not as bad) with Honda and Mitsubishi. This Nissan buying experience was one of the better ones. So, it's not just Nissan. Enjoy your Acura!

on that i totally agree thats why i was going for the max in the first place

i believe that the max is about equal to the tl(properly euqipped) except for the longer warranty and the unequaled service
