Tires
Tires
I posted a few weeks back about getting new tires for my stock rims. I went with the Sumitomo HTR+ 215/50WR-17. I know these are a little more narrow than the stock tires, but for the money I thought they were the best bet.
Well I've put 1,000 miles on them, and they handle great! It doesn't matter if it is dry, wet or snowy (we have gotten over a foot in the past week), they stick and handle 100 times better than the Potenza's in all conditions. I got them from tirerack.com ($388.10 delivered) and had them mounted. The tread is very aggressive, and they look good on the car.
Just wanted to share the info if anyone is looking for a good all year tire.

I hope you get many responses on this thread. The Potenzas on my car will need replacement in the spring, and I definitley would not get them again given a choice. They are great on dry road, OK in snow, and absolutley horrible in wet weather.
In addition to the Sumitomo tires, what other kinds/sizes work well with on the SE, keeping in mind the anticipated weather in the NE part of the country?
