I just finished putting my Place Racing CAI on my 2000 max. Well i drove to go eat and everything was ok. Then I finished eating and was on my way home when I realized that the "check engine soon" light came on. If anyone has had this problem let me know what is going on, I would really appreciate it.

Did you accidentally grind the wires next to the fuse? Did you connect the hoses correctly? Is the MAF back in place?

Try disconnecting the battery for about 6 hours then reconnect it back. Hopefully it'll go away for good.

****, thats what happened to me...i brought it over to nissan (barely...it wouldn't start easily...took a few tries) and had to pay $1200 to get it fixed...i'd reccomend if the unplug thing doesn't work, put your stock airbox and everything back on and bring it into nissan...then they will fix it free under warranty...if you keep the cai on, they will charge you for a new MAF (~$900) and install...but try the battery thing first

I've learned some lessons that cost me one helluva lot more than $1200.00. There's nothing more valuable than advice borne of experience. Thanks MrBurner.
