Stock intake Y-Pipe Question

With all the problems that people have been having with the MAF I decided on leaving the stock air box until a SC or Turbo is manufactured. I’m interested in installing a WSP y-pipe, my question is, will I see an increase with the stock intake? I know that an after market intake & y-pipe with a catback will provide the best results, but will I see an improvement with the stock intake and after market y-pipe?

you will definetely see an increase in mid to high end with the y pipe even with the stock airbox in. i had a k&n drop with my y pipe for about 6 months before i went to a berk/franken setup for the intake. sometimes i miss the quietness of the original setup and other times i enjoy hearing it roar. also if im not mistaken, most people running SC have 3" y pipes instead of the standard 2.5". just something to think about if you plan on it one day.
