How Much HP does he have?
A buddy of mine has a 2k Max with the 3.0L and automatic.
He's told me its got 222hp stock.
He's added after market Y-pipe, round rice style muffler, Intake, and something like MSD firing system but its not MSD.
How much HP does he have at the fly? He keeps trying to tell me he's got 255 because all these peaces add a certan amount of HP.

Y Pipe: 10-15
Rice muffler: 3
Intake: 4
Ignition: 4
Looks like about 20 additional hp or so.
Keep in mind that with an auto, he will lose even more power by the time the power gets to the wheels. I'd venture a guess at around 185 fwhp.

Y-pipe 12-15HP
Muffler 2-4HP
Intake 4-6HP
Ignition 3-5HP
He should have about 240-250HP. With those mods, the car is a capable 15.0 second car. But since its so cold out, he might be able to dip into the 14's

you guys say he at 185 at the wheels, but (and i know this may not be very reliable), but according to my quarter times, the calculators say my 2k1 with only pop intake has 180 at the wheels with 225 stock(3 for intake) and 3400-3450 pounds (wioth me and gas in car)... i was just wondering if they were off or not, unfortunately, i'm a broke college kid who can't afford a dyno...

Stock 2000/2001 autos dyno ~175 HP if I remember correctly. The calculator is probably pretty darn close...your car probably does make around 180 (5 more at the wheels over stock).
